Easter Gospel Music Extravaganza
The Easter Gospel Music Extravaganza is an annual charity concert hosted by Kari Care Foundation every Easter, bringing together the best of Uganda’s gospel music scene for a soul-stirring evening of praise, worship, and inspiration.
Held at the iconic Plaza Auditorium in Kampala City, this event unites renowned gospel artists, special guest speakers, and passionate fans for an unforgettable night of entertainment, laughter, and spiritual renewal. Our inaugural event on April 9, 2023, saw 250 attendees come together in faith and generosity. By the second edition on April 1, 2024, attendance doubled to 500, a testament to the growing impact of this celebration.
Spearheaded by Kari Care Foundation’s team leader, Kagiri Richard, the Extravaganza was born from a vision to share kindness, build hope, and spread the gospel while spotlighting the needs of vulnerable children and communities. Funds raised from these events have directly supported outreach programs, provided school supplies, and covered school fees for children under our education program—giving them a brighter future.

World Feed the Poor Day
On August 2, 2024, Kari Care Foundation proudly joined the global movement to observe World Feed the Poor Day, an annual day dedicated to nourishing the bodies and souls of those in need. Hosted at St. Lawrence University’s main hall in Kampala, we provided meals to over 300 street children from within and around the university premises.
The day was a resounding success, graced by musicians, media personalities, and guests from the Bible Society of Uganda, who shared inspiring success stories and the word of God. Beyond food, the children received Bibles from our partners, as well as clothes, guidance, and counseling from our dedicated team. It was a day of hope, dignity, and love—a small gesture with a big impact.
As an annual event, World Feed the Poor Day will continue to be a cornerstone of our mission to serve the most vulnerable among us.

Christmas on the Streets
December is a season of love, giving, and miracles—and at Kari Care Foundation, we channel that spirit into our annual campaign, Christmas on the Streets. Every year, we bring the joy of Christmas to street children, the poor, and those who feel forgotten, reminding them that hope is alive even in the toughest circumstances.
On December 23, 2024, we celebrated in Kanakulya Zone, a Kampala slum, where we blessed young children and mothers with a day of love and care. The event kicked off with free haircuts for kids, followed by prayers, a sermon, singing, dancing, and a mega Christmas lunch. Soft drinks and clothes were also donated, ensuring everyone left with a smile and a renewed sense of hope.
This incredible day was made possible by the collective efforts of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and our passionate team. Christmas on the Streets is an annual tradition, and each December, we aim to touch a new group of lives with the magic of the season.
